Towit AI uses personal information to manage vehicle transport enquiries, driver waitlist onboarding and driver vetting. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it and how to contact us.

Information We Collect
- Customer enquiry details such as name, contact information, vehicle details, collection and delivery information.
- Driver Waitlist details such as name, WhatsApp number, email, location, transport type, capacity and goods-in-transit cover level.
- Driver vetting information such as DVLA share code, licence categories, insurance values, vehicle and trailer details, availability, routes, experience and references.
- Uploaded driver documents and images, including driving licence photos, insurance proof and vehicle or trailer photos.
- Basic technical information such as form submission time and server logs used for security and troubleshooting.
How We Use Information
- To respond to vehicle transport enquiries and provide quotes.
- To create driver accounts and allow drivers to complete vetting in stages.
- To assess driver suitability, insurance, licence entitlement, coverage and experience.
- To send operational emails, including welcome emails, completion reminders and internal notifications.
- To protect the service, prevent misuse and maintain records required for business operations.
Legal Basis
We process enquiry and onboarding data to take steps before entering into a service relationship, to pursue legitimate business interests in operating a safe transport network, and where needed with your consent for document handling and driver vetting.
Sharing Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share relevant job information with vetted drivers or operational partners where needed to arrange transport. Driver documents are used for vetting and are not shared publicly.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as needed for enquiries, onboarding, vetting, compliance, dispute handling and operational records. You can request deletion by emailing hello@towit.ai.
Your Rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Security
Driver accounts use generated passwords and server-side sessions. Uploaded documents are stored outside the public web root and access is limited to authorised Towit administrators.
